ABOUT THE ACT
In recent years, the ACT has become one of two most widely administered college entrance exam in the U.S. to determine a students’ readiness for their curriculums. In making admissions decisions, colleges consider applicants’ ACT scores along with a number of other factors: Grade Point Average, Rigor of Curriculum, Extracurricular Activities, Personal Statements, Letters of recommendation, and Interviews.
The test consists of four multiple-choice tests covering the subjects of English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, and an optional Writing section. Students are given 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete the entire ACT, including the Writing section.
The ACT is being offered seven times just this fall do to COVID-19. Students of all ages are eligible to take the ACT.
ABOUT THE COURSE
At SAT Marketplace, not only do we focus on test-taking tips and strategies, but we also provide instruction on relevant concepts & topics typically presented on the ACT test – concepts that many students have forgotten.
Our ACT Prep course includes a comprehensive review of Elementary through Advanced Placement math & verbal concepts along with other essential tools for success, such as a review of frequently occurring questions, strategies for responding to particular question types, and instruction on how to compose a high-scoring writing essay!
